A fisherman by trade, Peter, along with his brother Andreas, followed Jesus and both became His disciples. Saint Peter preached the Gospel in Judea, Antioch, Pontos, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia. According to Christian tradition he martyred in Rome during the Empire of Neron (54-68 AD) and was crucified in 64 AD. Saint Paul never met Jesus alive. He was born in Tarsus of Cilicia and was a harsh persecutor of Christians. In 36 AD, Jesus was revealed to him and from then onwards he became the greatest preacher of the Gospel. He was the founder of the Church of Greece and wrote 14 letters to the Churches he founded which are all included in the New Testament. He martyred in Rome between 64 AD and 67 AD. 5x6cm
