September 10, 12 noon - 2:00 p.m.
Featured in the Arlington Catholic Herald and the National Catholic Register, Return to Me invites you to visit Jesus in the tabernacle outside of a formal holy hour. Tracing the history and meaning of tabernacle symbols and motifs, the book takes the reader on a journey to tabernacles all over the United States. With reflections and prayers, Return to Me shows how to “read” the art of the tabernacle to find peace and grace sitting at the feet of Jesus in His Real Presence.
Bishop Andrew Cozzens recommends the book as “helpful to anyone who would like to encounter Jesus in a deeper way in the Blessed Sacrament.” Father Edward Hathaway calls it “a faith-filled, informative and inspiring way to grow in deeper faith and knowledge of the Eucharist.” And, in his foreword to the book, George Weigel writes that “Pope St. John Paul II would have loved it.”
To encourage family devotion to adoration, Lynda also will be signing the just-released coloring book that she drew to accompany Return to Me. With Light of the World: Tabernacle Art Coloring Book (En Route Books and Media 2024), parents, grandparents, and other adults who stop to visit Jesus with children can engage the children in drawing and later discussion of the meaning of symbols like the dove, cross, penguin, and anchor in Eucharistic art.
Light refreshments will be available.
