One of the most beloved depictions of the Divine Mercy, this image of the original Vilnius rendition by Eugene Kazimirowski draws us in and bids us meditate upon the overwhelming mercy and love of Our Lord. Christ, looking in front of the viewer, is raising a hand in blessing and with the other hand is pointing to His Heart, out of which flows rays of Blood and Water. Christ gave St. Faustina this image in Poland in 1931. In a conversation with our Lord, He explained the image to her and asked to have it painted so that all could adore Him and receive His Mercy.
