One phrase that Mother Teresa held close in her heart was - "I Thirst". She recommended this phrase, spoken by Christ on the cross, to her community as a way to meditate on Christ's personal love for each of us.
This phrase was the inspiration for the digital design on the front of the card and is combined with the watercolor portrait highlighting her beautiful smile - representing her love for the "poorest of the poor".
