Introducing Our New Shepherds!

EVERY ENDING HAS A NEW BEGINNING

In the fall of 1987 a small group of women, surely under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit but without any retail experience among them, decided to open a tiny Catholic bookstore and gift shop in Fairfax. The population of Northern Virginia was expanding westward and there was a pressing need to provide quality religious books and gifts to the many Catholics in the area.

For thirty-three years, Donna Biegler, Roslyn Barry and I put our heart and soul into operating The Paschal Lamb, the tiny shop that after three expansions, three popes and three bishops, has become the spacious, welcoming, trusted store that it is today.  For many of those years we were joined by Vee Murray, Fran Tancreti, and Barbara Schwartz who were ready to fill in for us whenever we called on them.  We always considered them a part of The Paschal Lamb family and they remain dear friends today.

Do keep all of us – founding owners and new owners – in your prayers as we embark on this new phase of our lives.  And please do continue to support The Paschal Lamb with your patronage so that the Lord blesses HIS store for at least thirty-three fruitful years to come!

God bless you all!

CONTINUING THE LEGACY

As the new shepherds, we are incredibly grateful to have the torch passed to us, and we pledge to faithfully serve the many devoted friends and patrons of The Paschal Lamb. In the coming months you may see small changes to the store as we add our personal touch to the space.  The mission of the store has not and will not change; it will continue to respond to the call to evangelize and to support our wonderful Catholic community. We look forward to meeting you personally and helping you find what you’re looking for; either in our store, or on our evolving website.

God bless you!
