Institute of Catholic Culture

If you are unfamiliar with the Institute of Catholic Culture, we invite you to find out more by visiting their website. If you live in the Northern Virginia area going to their events is a must. If you live farther away, the resources on their site are invaluable for growing in the faith at home or in your car. Regardless of where you are, you don’t have to miss the inspiring programs as you can attend their events live via webcast or listen to the recordings later as they are posted on the website. They even have an app at the iTunes store. Their next event is Tongues of Fire: The Feast of Pentecost in Sacred Scripture.

Lamb Cake Drawing

We have a tradition of holding a drawing for a handcrafted lamb cake on Holy Saturday. Stop by on March 26th between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to enter your name. The winner will take home a delicious Easter dessert!

Our annual lamb cake drawing is coming up!

In case you live too far out to visit us, Catholic Culture has a wonderful recipe here. Have a blessed Holy Week and a very Happy Easter!

Our Day on the Radio

On February 20th we were blessed to have WMET Radio 1160 AM come to The Paschal Lamb and broadcast live from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. WMET’s Executive Director interviewed two of our three owners, Donna and Cecilia, as well as Deacon Sabatino Carnazzo of the Institute of Catholic Culture. The conversation embraced ‘evangelization through education’. It is our hope to help our guests in this important work when they come to visit us.  We know the ICC and Deacon Sabatino are doing wonders in our Diocese.
